Another post about dirt...

I'd just got home with a screaming Elle and I wondered if she would cheer up a bit if I let her play out for a minute. She did. Good I thought, now I can do the washing up.

After washing about 2 cups I realised that Elle's happy giggles had diminished into silence so I dashed to check on her knowing she must be up to some sort of mischief. This is what she was doing.

Soil was in her eyes, mouth and ears, not to mention her new coat! To top it all off, when I got her inside, she rushed straight up the stairs covering the house in the stuff.

Still, I suppose this wasn't as bad as when my mum had to deal with sick AND diarrhoea at the same time on her new rug!
